Ballwin is a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri located 20 miles to the west of the downtown area. Founded in 1804 and named after Irish immigrant and Revolutionary War hero, John Ball who was given a military land grant after the war.  

Today, Ballwin is home to over 30,000 residents and is a center of commerce for most of the West County area.  Ballwin is served by highly ranked Parkway School District and Rockwood School District.  Many places of worship are located in Ballwin or within a short drive.  Ballwin takes pride in its many parks and recreational facilities and was one of the first cities in Missouri to be named a “Tree City” by the National Arbor Day foundation.
